Quickie Social Media Update
Please be weary of imposters. This has happened to some other people I know as well. Basically, these jerks swipe all my photos/videos and then create new social media accounts and pretend to be me.
- I don’t chat on ANY social media unless I know you in real life, and even then, I don’t chat too much… this includes, Instagram, WhatsApp (which I don’t even have), Facebook, TikTok (another I don’t use), Twitter X, etc. If you don’t see a Blue Verification Badge, chances are, it’s a fake account. So if you’ve been chatting some someone saying they’re me…there’s a pretty good chance it’s not me.
- I’m not “looking for love”, hookups, money, gift cards, etc… Anyone who asks you for money online that you’ve never met before, should raise a red flag.
- Please Report accounts that you know for sure are not me. I can’t always keep up and monitor the entire web.
Just be careful, please. It’s not flattering and it makes me feel pretty lousy to know people are using my images to catfish people. Also, as much as I wish I knew another language, I’m only fluent in English: just recently someone sent me screenshots of conversations my imposters had all in Spanish.
