The Thanks
Before I go into my blog thoughts for the day, let me say a big THANKS to Adam Curry for being the 1st to give "Goldie Hawn" a spin on his Podcast [The Daily Source Code]. Adam and the guys at Podshow.com kick asseseses
I usually just pick up Adam’s feed on iTunes so it’s been a while since I’ve actually looked at their site and I just noticed "Upside Down" is still in the Top 10 of Pop/Rock. It’s #6 now…so if there’s any podcasters out there wishing to give any of my tracks a spin to increase my chart rank, that would be DANDY! Thanks to those who’ve kept the song alive!
Check out DSC 510! ME and Quiet Riot all in the same show…it doesn’t get any groovier than that

Some Thoughts
Why does it seem that from Thanksgiving until New Years, everyone just basically stops working? I actually do some of my best writing around this time…songwriting…maybe blogging too…mainly, I feel most nostalgic around this time of year and it stirs the pot in my brain and causes me to jot down ideas.
Some people around me seem SO focused on the holidays and I keep hearing about all the plans that everyone’s going to do after the New Year. What’s wrong with now?….ok…so I’m being Scrooge this year. Maybe I need a visit from The Blog of Christmas Past to make me realize It’s a Wonderful Life. [I actually do have so much to be thankful for the year of 2006...For once, I'm looking forward to writing my little Year in Review].
Anyway… I know I’ve said this before, but I really am working on the next CD. I’m constantly writing but what I need to be doing is constantly recording. That’s what I’m working on now.
What’s been happening these last few years is… I’ve been having these recording contracts dangled over my head and it makes me hold off on recording anything. It’s hard to explain why that would make me not record other than to say that I’ve been storing up Ammo. My next CD will be like the next chapter of RAMBO!

The Conclusion
So what’s going on now is…I’m not going to wait anymore. I should have been doing this all along. Now, the trick is…weeding out the good from the bad. One song at a time.
