A Busy November Ahead!
Saturday, October 21st, 2006The Key Club’s "Plush Lounge" showcase is now CONFIRMED! So if you find yourself in Hollywood on November 14th at 7:30pm, stop in and enjoy the show. Come early and hang out with the band…have dinner… drink, be merry, eat food off of our naked bodies with chop-sticks. [You may need to bring your own chop-sticks]
As I plugged yesterday, 3 playa’s are scheduled…
Us, Brooke Ramel, and Eugene Edwards. [And maybe some extra surprises at the end of the night...like maybe we might saw someone in half]
I’ll be posting flyers and more updates as the days go on. I might even try a little blog-hypnosis to get people to show up. Subliminal messages hidden in the HTML & Text Messages will work just dandy! You’ll show up and not even know why [evil grin].
I’m excited about the show and I have some folks flying in for it …and what better reason to fly to Hollywood?
I’m silly… I Know…Actually, I’ve decided that I need to remain silly and not take everything so seriously. These last 12 weeks of hustling for votes on StarTomorrow has been pretty exhausting for everyone involved but we all know it’s almost over. We all certainly have put in quite a bit of work to be here…hopefully it pays off for each band involved.
Actually, November is a super busy music-month for me. The ST show should be over by then…Then Nov. 4th I have the JPF Awards show…Nov. 9th I have the LA Music Awards…[My 1st year being nominated for 2 awards shows! Woo Hoo!]..and then the showcase on the 14th. I’m going to think of the showcase as my own celebration of everything that’s been happening.
The funny thing about doing Music…and I think this happens with any sort of entertainment business, but everything seems to come in waves. One second, absolutely NOTHING is going on…and then the next, EVERYTHING AT ONCE. Everything at Once is the better place to be eh?
I’m going to try to get to some email and phone calls today. I’m really behind on that and I need to take a moment to answer those.
Speaking of calls….I just got a call from some friends of mine back in Michigan. They’re having their Halloween festivities this weekend and the next…I really wish I could be part of it. October is my favorite Michigan Month and I usually try to get back there for Halloween.
People in Michigan go CRAZY with Halloween…not that they don’t here in CA…but driving along in the suburbs of Detroit… every other house’s front lawn looks like a graveyard. It’s really crazy-cool! LOL
It’s a MUST-SEE!
