Pryor Knowledge

It’s never fun to log in to Wordpress and click on the Category: DEATH. I’m probably the last to know, but I just heard Richard Pryor died. He was 65. I read that he died sometime late Friday or early Saturday of a heart attack at his home in the San Fernando Valley, according to his ex-wife Flyn Pryor but I’m sure there will be something more "official" in the news tonight.
I enjoyed Pryor’s movies but none of that even compared to his Stand Up material. Ironic that near the end of his life he couldn’t Stand Up at all….very sad.
END OF MORBID PORTION OF THIS BLOG
Today’s another Gym Day (I told you all I had an addictive personality)…I always fought off becoming one of the Hollywood Gym People but I admit I’m enjoying the routine of it all… and hoping to get in better shape…as well as look and feel better. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are the three days I’m going …Sunday’s/Mondays are usually hockey. The thing I’ve noticed about it all…is the hardest part is just GETTING THERE. Once I’m in the the gym…all that’s easy.
Tonight I’m going to a Christmas party down in Orange County…should be fun. [Making a mental note to pick up a bottle of wine or something festive.] I used to love going to Christmas parties with the friends I grew up with in good ol’ Michigan. My friend Jeff used to have one every year and people I’d known since I was 10 years old would be there. We would exchanged gifts but it was mostly gag gifts…those were always fun to get and they didn’t break the bank either(which was nice). I’m pretty sure some of the people at these parties exchanged bodily fluids as well too. HO HO HO. I better not "go there" otherwise my blog with increase to NC17 rather than the nice PG13 it is now
