The Truth About Cats and Dogs (The Grassy Knoll)

This image was sent to me today… This is a pretty good reason why I’m a "dog person" though I suppose I DO like all animals.
I think animals [for the most part] are better than people. It’s that whole unconditional love thing. Who doesn’t like that?
In a post I wrote not too long ago while talking about the cats and dogs… someone was kind enough to explain to me the main difference…they said:
"Dog’s have Masters…while Cats have Staff"
I suppose that makes sense…which is probably why I’m a dog person. It’s just too bad we don’t have squirrels as pets. Now there’s an animal that seems mindful.
I remember when I was a kid, I was always told to never touch squirrels. The fear I was instilled with was that they all carry crazy diseases– we know that’s not true but this is just something I was told as a child…Of course growing up in Michigan, many of the people I knew took pride joy in re-enacting November 21, 1963. There were COUNTLESS squirrel killings in my childhood. We all had Pump Pellet/Bee Bee Guns and I’m pretty sure I took my turn aiming from the Book Depository Building …and just like JFK, I didn’t act alone. Too bad those squirrels didn’t have handy light sabers
Sometimes I wonder how I made it this far…I remember a game we used to play as kids called "2 Pump Bee Bee Gun"…What this was ….was all the kids would wear our heaviest winter coats and take our pump guns into the woods and just SHOOT EAT OTHER! The rules were that we could only pump the gun 2 times and OF COURSE NO ONE pumped it only twice. We all learned what it felt like to nailed with a Bee Bee. What the hell were we thinking? It sure seemed like fun at the time. Luckily, no one ever got hurt(too badly).
