Lost

I’m a huge Alias fan…What I usually do is just wait for the season to come out on DVD and watch them all back to back. I think Alias is too good to have to wait a whole week to see what happens next…and so…renting the DVD, I get to be in control
So when I was told about the creator of Alias coming out with this new show “Lost” I figured I would just wait until it was released to DVD and see what all the fuss is about.
I think I expected too much from the show perhaps, but with all the hand-held camera work it leaves me with wanting to puke after each show. It’s as if the camera man is intentionally trying to make the viewing audience sick. I don’t mind a little bit of hand-held camera work but I would recommend chomping on some Dramamine before watching this show.
The story??? Well…I’m only on the 2nd disc but I’m LOST…I don’t get it and not sure I want to. I’ll end up finishing this 1st season but that’s it[that is if i can stop from vomiting from all the hand-held stuff]. Perhaps I might enjoy the show a little more if i didn’t have to close my eyes on the “earthquake scenes”. Also, the story seems like it needs to move along a little faster. –The last one I watched they dedicated an entire 1 hour show to trying to find someone’s asthma inhaler. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz.
Is it just me or am I the only one who can’t STAND any sort of hand-held movie? Who started this “let’s get the audience sick with crazy camera movement” ? Anyway…that’s my Lost review so far…perhaps it’ll calm down in later shows and get more interesting.
