Sunday, September 4th, 2005I have one more hockey game tomorrow morning at 8am and then "Hockey Vacation". We haven’t been doing well in these games but I did happen to score a goal today. It feels a little less painful to lose and still have scored. I feel like I played a good game today…I just can’t get used to waking up at 6am to play these games. Same time tomorrow too :- [
Whoever scheduled these time slots for us probably didn't even consider that teams coming from the east coast wouldn't be suffering as much hockey jet-lag(8am to a NY team is like playing at 11am--you get the idea). I wish I could have that as an excuse as to why we're not doing so hot but that's really just a small factor.
I'll be glad when this is over...I'm sore...But I have to admit the sadistic part of me is enjoying this daily routine of being sliced to pieces on the ice
OH.. How could I forget this...
...I WON..I WON...I WON!...No...Not any Hockey games over the last few days...
I won "The Whitest Person Award"....[Tell him what he's won Johnny] A free gift certificate at a tanning salon [crowd applause]. Apparently my hours of hard work trying to get the most gleaming computer tan has paid off!
Call me cocky, but when I was told I was to be nominated for this award, I knew I’d take home 1st place!

"I’d like to thank Toshiba for the fine glow…my vampire hours….Macromedia…Photoshop…. but most of all, …all the little sun-loving people I had to step on to get where I am.

I will most likely donate my prize to the Red Cross. Tanning booths are the worst things a person could do to their skin-though I’m guilty of trying it in the past. There ain’t nothin’ like the joys of skin cancer. Ok..I DO wish my skin were a tad-shade darker…It’s a little embarrassing to see people squint and put on very dark sunglasses if I take my shirt off.
