Ok…This is just a quickie test….I’ve now added the little “Journal Mailing List” to the left where it says “Enter your email address to be notified of Journal updates!” Let’s see if it works.

The problem was right in front of my face….On bloglet.com they say:

Log in to Blogger and click the site you want to add to Bloglet. Once you arrive at the Blogger editing interface, look at the URL you are at; it should be something like:

http://www.blogger.com/blog.pyra?blogid=XXXXXXX

The XXXXXXX is your weblog id.

and so…i thought i had to put in the full URL of http://www.blogger.com/blog.pyra?blogid=XXXXXXX when all i needed was the XXXXXXXX part. Perhaps they could say..”Hey, you JUST NEED THE # not the full URL”. Main thing is…It’s working–or should be…We’ll find out from the people who’ve added their emails.

Ok…It’s campy as hell, but I got a chuckle out of it.

I consider myself somewhat computer savvy but I can’t seem to get this bloglet.com mailing list to work with blogger.com. If ANYONE is having the same trouble as I am please email the secret. I’ve written tech support for both blogger and bloglet and not heard back.

In theory, it’s a great idea to let people sign up to just a blog-mailing list and let them be notified of when a new entry occurs rather than people having to keep checking if something new is posts. On the bright side, i blog daily but it’s never at any set time–so the list thing would be a nice help. Or maybe not. Anyway…If anyone knows the trick…Email me at mailto:bob@bobgentry.com
