But seriously…we hardly ever get rain. And now…All these million dollar homes built on these mud-sliding cliffs seem to be …Let’s say…”reduced in value” Perhaps it’ll be a house I’ll be able to afford one day

Real Estate is so depressing for someone who’s not a gazillionaire here in LA. I keep thinking that someday I’ll actually be able to own property here but even a SMALL 1 bedroom condo in this area goes for about 300k. The typical 2 bed/2 bath house STARTS at around a half a MILLION.–I’m not talking about a mansion either.

I pay around $1000.00 a month in rent(which is considered VERY cheap here) but i can’t help but get a sick feeling in my stomach knowing that in rent alone for the last 5 years I’ve basically THROWN AWAY $60,000.00. INSANE!

so here’s my beef…If it’s going to cost me another 60K to live here another 5 years…i would very much appreciate it to be 75 degrees and sunny all year long. I don’t think it’s too much to ask
