Yes, I’m totally CRANKING the Beatle’s Abbey Road album….. GAWD DAMN THIS IS SUCH A MASTERPIECE! I’ve always been a monstrous Beatle fan…It just AMAZES me that their albums have like 15 songs that are all GREAT-not just “OK”. [Disclaimer--either you're a Beatle fan or you're not..It's either love or hate] Mainly…as I’m listening to this side of Abbey Road and how the songs melt into each other, makes me think how cool it is that these are all different songs and yet they all seem like they belong together. Either I’m just so used to hearing them in this order or it’s one of the best concept CD ever. Though this album was at the end of the Beatle’s career, it really shows the maturity of musicianship and songwriting..Not to mention production. Golden Slumbers and Carry that Weight ending the record?? Who could ask for more?

I totally understand why people followed these guys like they were gods. For many people these guys are basically the soundtrack to their lives….And even though it’s not my generation, it’s been the soundtrack to mine as well. Not to mention, each of their albums are like chapters in the Music Bible that many singer/songwriters worship…Or admire…And if not, they at least give respect.

It’s raining here in LA….Which means my Tennis game scheduled for today is rained out. We’ll try again tomorrow.

I’m still not shaving…I’m growing the grubby beard to have more pictures taken to give a different “look” for the talent agents. The more looks i have, the more open doors I’ll have. I think it’d be fun as hell to play the Bad Guy but I’m not sure how well i can give off that look. I guess we’ll find out

Oh…an update on Vegas…I’ll be going there in March but I’m not performing. I’ve decided just to go and take a vacation, relax, gamble, and spend time with friends and my sister who’ll be flying out there. I’m looking forward to it As for a show, i need to work more on putting together another showcase here. I’ve got a call in to the people who booked me at the Key Club last time and waiting to hear back on open dates. More to come…
