Switching Servers
Wednesday, December 22nd, 2004I decided to switch hosting companies today. For those who don’t know anything about web pages…I own my domain[which is bobgentry.com] but we all still have to pay a company to host our domains[unless of course we own our own servers].

Well, I woke up today with my website down along with email…This is because the server went down. Normally, I’m a pretty forgiving person seeing that I’ve stuck with this same company since I started my website and in that time they’ve been DOWN at least 40 times…Maybe more. Needless to say, I’m in the process of moving everything over to a new server. Their pricing seems pretty GREAT along with the amount of web space they give. I’ll let you all know how it goes in the next few days. I’m hoping it’ll be a smooth transition.
I really need to do my Christmas shopping!
