Halloween Eve
Saturday, October 30th, 2004Hmmm…I think last night was Detroit’s Devil’s Night. If I’m not mistaken, 2 days before Halloween is what Michiganders call Devil’s Night…AKA: let’s set the city on fire and throw rotten eggs at people’s houses, cars…Etc…
I guess Michigan is the only state to have this? I think the fires have not been as bad the last few years. Detroiters have been really cracking down on it. I remember one year living in MI there were something like 30 fires all in one night. I just don’t get it. What makes people set their own city on fire? And all in the name of? STOOOOOPIDITY!
I spent today doing just about everything but what I should have been doing. When I figure out what I should be doing I’ll be sure to do that :-]
Tomorrow’s “trick and treat” night… I’m going to dress up like a computer geek. Glasses on.
