This is probably gonna make some people groan since I’m pretty sure Céline Dion is not on the “cool kid list” these days but…i REALLY love this new single of hers called “Taking Chances”…i just downloaded it from iTunes and i’ve had it on repeat for the last 30 minutes. There’s no denying the gal can sing like a Mo’ Fo’. She certainly is a character though =)
This song reminds me of the when Christina Aguilera released that “Beautiful” song…i wasn’t really a huge fan of hers back then but i couldn’t stop listening to that song…
Now that i’m thinking of this…there’s a bunch of artists out there who I don’t really like but have 1 (or 2) song(s) that I love…as freaky as Michael Jackson is..i dig the “Man in the Mirror” song. [I better stop before i lose the point of this entry]
So basically, i was just sitting here thinking about the power of a good song. Now if i could just write one 
More important than Celine Dion and her girly looking little boy (poor kid), is some decent sleep. Go back to bed for the love of God. Perhaps then you will come to your senses about Celine Dion.
In all seriousness, I haven’t heard the song, but a friend of mine likes it as well and he too is not the Celine type. Unless it’s that South Park episode.

sometimes it’s hard to tell being so close to them…although if i don’t listen to one of my own tunes for a few years, it seems pretty fresh but most of the time it’s hard to judge my own stuff.
