“We the jury, find Bob GUILTY of not updating his blog”…
Yeah, yeah, yeah… I know. I have no excuse. I wish I could say I’ve been slammed with numerous musical things that have my hands tied but sadly things have been slow going in that department. I did have a rehearsal last week that went quite well but it was just a quickie get-together noise making session before my 3 week trip back to Michigan.

I leave for the Motor City this Thursday. I catch a Red Eye from LAX and land at around 5am Friday morning. I’m looking forward to my trip …it’s been a few years since I’ve been there though it doesn’t feel that long. I wonder if anything has changed back there…or what’s still the same. I’ll find out soon.

Oh…yes…I posted a photo of me from last week at a friend’s b-day party. Note the silly mustache :{
I try to update photos of me as much as I can for those who haven’t seen me in a while. This way, when they see me in person, I (hopefully) won’t look like I’ve aged 20 years overnight. Not sure if that makes sense… Perhaps I can save all these photos and one day put them together in a time-lapsed photography series …sort of like a flower wilting to its death. Eeek…that’s morbid,…sorry.
Back to fun thoughts…

I really can’t wait to see friends and family over the next few weeks. Sometimes I feel I’ve been gone so long that the life I once knew is almost dreamlike. The memories seem to fade while I’m living here in Hollywood but when I go back to visit, the files get unzipped and triggered open by either just by being back there or by things old friends say. You gatta love nostalgia!

Well…It’s getting late here. Need to unplug my brain and try to crash.
