Well, Life seems to be getting back to a state of “normal”… I’m pretty much back to my old self again but I won’t be playing hockey any time soon. The good news is that last night I was able to sleep on my belly. My concentration is still a little lacking but all in all… things are good.
I’m not too worried about the bill. I mean, I am worried but there’s not much I can do about any of it right now so I’m not going to stress myself out over something I have no control over. I called the billing office today and just got the voicemail… will try again tomorrow.
Oh, thanks to those who voted on that Star 98 contest.. We didn’t make the top 15 but I had a feeling that’s how it was going to end up. Not being able to spend the time needed to promote, plug and beg for votes hurt me there but also…I think after the last voting contest, it’s hard to get people excited about something like this. I think folks are burned out on getting a “vote for me” email…I know I’m tired of sending them. 
There’s always a bright side … The good news is that by having the video posted, it gave me some extra exposure and I got some really nice comments. Thanks!
I can’t wait to get back in the studio and start recording more stuff! Being gone for 3 weeks in September might make that a little tricky but everything will work itself out… it usually does
Oh, before I forget…yesterday was my sister’s birthday. I meant to post a little Happy Birthday yesterday but I wasn’t near the computer much.

props to you for handling stress so well .. do you come by that naturally? i’d give a years pay to relax but i’m always on edge… maybe i thrive on it…

Oh, i get stressed out too but at this point, i’m not sure what good it’ll do to make myself crazy
I used to stress out much more but as i get older I realize that if i just sit tight, everything works itself out…besides…i’m pretty sure there’s much worse situations to be in. I’m just happy to be alive and kicking

Phew just finished catching up on your blogs lol. I’ve been mentally preparing for my placement test to go back to school. Yikes I read about your surgery. Hope you feel better soon hugs. Did they catch it in time? My mom took forever to go in when she got the pain. Her ruptured b4 they got to it. My mom is very hard headed lol. Don’t push yourself too hard. Relax and let it heal lol.
yeah, they caught it before it exploded…but that was some painful stuff. For me to actually go to the ER, you know it had to be painful…normally i could be bleeding to death and still not go to the ER
I have to say that the USA really has to sort out its healthcare issues. 54k for a routinely done operation is outrageous. If you get ill its a lot cheaper to get on a flight to Europe and use the health system over here!

i just got another bill in the mail today from my anesthesiologist ….another 2 grand! …pft!
