Thanks to those who sent Birthday Greetings yesterday! I was signed up to my own mailing list and oddly enough, an auto-birthday video greeting was sent to me from me… weird LOL

I’m just glad that day is over. I thought about going to Vegas since today is 7-7-7 but the reality is, I’d probably end up losing $777.00

The 4th of July was fun…I ended up going to a party out in the Valley…a very HUGE house on the hill… The place had a swimming pool that was somehow connected to a waterfall. Neat. I didn’t know too many people there other than a few people from my hockey team but it was nice to get out.

I’ve been having this weird craving to go camping. I haven’t done it since I was a kid. We used to jaunt off to the lake at some Michigan campground and spend our 4th’s living out some sort of Friday The 13th Movie (only without the demonically possessed “Jason”). Campfires … acoustic guitars… friends…burning food on a stick. The Fourth of July never seems complete without the sweet smell of insect repellant mixed with sun-block.

I’m sure we have campgrounds here in California…I just need to look for them.

I’ll be getting my “Michigan Fix” in September…I’ll be there for 3 weeks. I’m excited about the trip too. I think I need to go back every once in a while to charge up my battery. As of now…my battery is almost dead.
