At the Movies (again)
Last night I went to a Red Carpet Premier for a film that I have a song in. The movie’s called “Anderson’s Cross” …I’m pretty sure there’s a 6 Minute long Trailer for it floating around on YouTube 
It’ll be on video soon for anyone interested. If you blink your ear, you could easily miss the few seconds of “Upside Down” that’s in the movie but It’s a nice credit to have.
It was brought to my attention that just about every time I have a song placed in TV or Film, it’s usually playing on the radio–which is somewhat funny since my tunes and Radio have yet to come together as one happy family. For the next CD, these radio folks will be held at gunpoint. It’s going to all go down like some sort of Adam Sandler movie 
Anyway…the movie last night was pretty good. Production and Acting was 100 times better than some of the movies I’ve been renting lately [I've been picking up some real duds]. Sometimes I’m amazed at what makes the shelves at Blockbuster…
I think what bugs me most about some of these movies I’ve been renting is… “Interlacing”. You know…when you’re watching it and you see jagged lines on screen. Hard to explain. I guess the best way to describe it is that they look like they’re shot with someone’s home low-end video camera. What’s worse is watching something like that on a giant screen TV…you really see the flaws then. I guess watching HD TV has really spoiled me.

It must be such a mixed experience; on one hand, you know you’re part of something major, but on the other, you’re still working to get your name out there.
Absolutely unrelated to anything: Have you heard Peter Bjorn and John’s “Young Folks”? If not, you should. I think you would love it.

The movie thing is so cool. Why isn’t it in theatres or is it just meant to be on video?

I agree, your songs SHOULD be on the radio. Sometimes I’ll hear something that I think sounds like you and wonder why it’s not you that I’m hearing. You will be soon. I can just tell.
i used to get tha quite a bit when a Rob Thomas song would come on…i guess people think we sound alike but I don’t really hear it…he’s good though so i’ll be happy to be compared to him
Lucky you a movie premier. Now my life looks really bland lol. Facebook has this new application called iLikes. I’m pretty sure it’s an iTunes thing lol. Now I have clips of some of your songs on my Facebook profile but they need to fix the Upside Down one and the Babe one. You click on the Babe one and it plays Too Fast:neutral:. You should really get on Facebook lol. It’s the latest craze. Apparently it’s becoming bigger then My Space.
My Space has never been my favorite site but i remember getting my account right when it 1st started…it’s been WORK. My Space actually put a BLOCK on my account a while back ..it was like cutting off my arm or something
I’ve seen the iLike thing but i don’t have it installed on the Mac
