Dog Cop
So I’m walking down my block today and in front of me, I see a girl walking her dog. I think it was a Boxer of some sort. Anyway, the dog was barking and she kept pulling on the leash and choking the dog trying and get the dog to stop (like that’s gonna work?).
Now I’m not one to tell someone how to raise their “child” but as i walk closer (I was catching up to her since i walk fast) I notice her KICKING the dog and saying “be quiet” and “shut up”. My blood starts to boil as I see her kick the dog about 4 more times.
As I walk up to her, I see her about to kick the dog again. This throws me over the edge. And not because I’m some sort of Super Hero to animals or anything but only because I don’t like to see anything get kicked…. I say:
“Lady, if i even see you even try to kick that dog again I’m going to kick YOU!”
She looks at me with an extremely shocked look on her face…like “How dare I tell her what to do with her dog” or something. I continue saying:
“I’m serious, I can kick MUCH harder than you…don’t test me!”
She muttered some cuss words at me and I glare at her and kept walking. It annoyed me.
I’m really not sure what I would have done if she would have kicked her dog one more time in front of me. Looking back, I suppose i could have called the police and reported her to the animal abuse people are something but I wasn’t thinking that fast.
Mainly, I just feel sorry for that dog. People suck!

You might have been able to do that since she was abusing the poor thing…but then she would probably start yelling rape & putting up a fight!! DUMBASS BROAD!!!
I’ve seen people yelling at their kids and thought stuff but I never get involved….I suppose if i saw someone kicking their kid i would ….this was just weird. The girl REALLY needed to be kicked…she was in her late 20’s…she should know better…it’s not as though she was a kid or anything and didn’t know any better
You know what I say about people who try to brutalize helpless animals. Time to thin the herd before they pro create. I had a Chihuahua when I was a kid and some idiots broke into our house and stole a bunch of stuff. The stuff they took ticked me off but when they kicked my Cihuahua and bruised her ribs I went ballistic. Lets just say it involved having a chat with the one that kicked her and his sudden need for exstensive dental work.
People who abuse animals are moral and physical cowards.
I think she thought because her dog was a bigger dog and tough that it was OK for her to kick it..WRONG. Yeah…i’m with you…if it were my own dog, she’d have been eating soft food for a month
You did the right thing–now when she walks the dog she will be looking over her shoulder!:lol:
ASnd if you see her doing it again, grab that dog & call the Police!
People do suck. Especially the stupid ones. Kicking dogs . . . learn how to train the dog. Kicking it only makes it violent, not a better listener.
Personally, you showed more restraint than I would have. I probably would have taken the dog from her and said, “You don’t deserve this dog.”
Then I’d have been arrested.
I’ve given my dog a LITTLE swat before but never anything hard and i wouldn’t even dare think about a KICK.

I hear ya. I’ve got a beagle. She’s dumber than rocks, constantly naughty, and never once have I kicked her. Well, unless you count when I’m sleeping and she’s taking up the good space. Insane.

I don’t blame you. I would have said the exact same thing. People who abuse animals should be shot. My cat Trouble was abused and abandond. The landlord of the apt. building he was left in dropped him off where Ike was working and they were gonna call the humane society. The Toronto Humane Society is over flowing with cats so Ike brought him home. It took him a while to trust us cuz he was abused and then left in an empty apt. for 2 weeks with no food or water b4 he was found. Maybe people should have to have a license to own a pet.
I think having people licensed to get a pet is a GREAT idea……….
sadly, there’s so may animals out there needing a home that if they make it harder to get rescued animals it might make people stay away
How hard was she kicking the dog? Actually when i took my chocolate lab for a training they told us to kick your dog with a knee if he jumps on you. In my other dog trainig class, for my older dog, they used throw chains which is very painful. I tested it on myself and had a huge bruise for a week. I refused to use this chain on my dog and was asked to look for another dog training school. Anyway i think you was right telling the girl what you’ve told her. There is not reason to kick your dog. Actually if dog is barking or pulling on the leash all you have to do is wave this leash in front of his snout. They really don’t like it and behave.
wow…i never heard of any trainging school that requires anyone to kick their dog…that just seems weird….maybe a gentle “nudge” but this was a kick
I would of done and said the same thing. Anamils are helpless. They can’t speak english to tell you anything. I can’t stand when people are mean to their animals. They need to be torchered 10 time worse for what they do to their animals! That really ticks me off!!!May that *i*ch burn in hell for that shit!
it was a big dog but i don’t think that gives her any excuse to actually be kickig the dog
