Yamaha Concert Last Night

I went to the Yamaha Concert last night in at Disney’s California Adventure Theater. Tickets were Open Seating so we were hidden in the back since we hit a little traffic on the way there. The show was fun though and of course, the sound was even better.
The concert was for Yamaha People and those affiliated with ‘em. And since the NAMM show is going on this weekend, it was a big event.

The lights went down and the curtain came up and this huge bad-ass orchestra fueled the show and backed up such artists like:
-
Earth Wind & Fire
-
Dr. John
-
Richard Marx
-
Dennis Deyoung (who KILLED [Killed:in a good way] "Come Sail Away"!)
-
Heather Headley
-
Teddy Geiger
-
Tommy Sims
The event was hosted by Wayne Brady.
Ah, what I wouldn’t give to be backed by such an orchestra like that!

Don’t fret, Musicman… your time is coming! You’re career is taxi-ing for take-off!
I’ve BEEN ready …who do i tip to get the plane off the ground!??!?!
Other questions are… What movie are they showing on this flight? Do I have a choice of chicken or fish…? Ah, the captain has just turned on the seat belt sign… and engines are spinning up… it’s about time!
That’s pretty cool! Pretty soon it WILL be you, and some newbie will be saying, “Man, I wish Bob Gentry backed me up!”
it’s tough to watch concerts sometimes…it’s like being benched in a baseball game…you want play and you want to see a good game..but ya wanna be part of it
aw dude… i would have LOVED to see Dennis De Young!
I thought he had died, though, and crossed over the river Styx.
*ducks and runs*
Mr. Roberto
i KNEW you’d get the reference. duh =)
Hey Bob…you were only five minutes from my house!!!!
they’ve changed quite a bit since the last time i was down there…very neat stuff!
