Thanks SO much to the people who signed up to the text-messaging mailing list! I got quite a bit of feedback/emails from the last entry and some questions.
Many of the concerns were from folks thinking that their cell phone numbers will be on some sort of spam mailing list[THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN]…or from others who just don’t feel comfy about having their mobile numbers given…and that’s understandable. Either way…I was just trying to have fun with it and give away a Free MP3 to those who wanted to signed up.

I’m sorry to those who don’t have cells or text messaging…perhaps down the road I’ll have some other sort of give-away.
That being said…please keep in mind…I’m STILL a STARVING ARTIST and I do need to feed myself somehow. Some people out there are under the impression that I’m some very rich person with my own personal jet with money to burn. Maybe someday…but until then…feel free to buy my CD and Stuff :)

Starving artist? Yep. I know exactly how you feel. When I first started in television I was working as a clerk at CBS-TV City and just because it was a “show-biz” job everyone thought I was rolling in the bucks. Duh! I was making less than a shoe salesman. Even people who reach a modest level of success do not make a lot of money…. most, barely enough to live on. This business is all smoke and mirrors. This town is loaded with false assumptions that if your name is out there and you are somewhat in the limelight that you’ve got a fat bank account. HAH!! What a falicy. No one ever sees the seedy side of Hollywood. After living here most of my life - it’s not a pretty picture. I’ve been there.

It’s just sort of funny that i get emails from folks who ask me for donations to their causes..i would LOVE to help on all those sorts of things…but I can hardly feed myself at times[ I hope to have that change soon though]
Maybe with all the extra attention from the StarTomorrow show and the LA Music and JPF awards shows, it might actualy translate into a paycheck??? I can dream eh?
I guess the main thing is…if i were doing music for the money..i would have stopped YEARS ago
