…but MAN…I’m really bummed out that they would give us such a lousy mix…I guess I should just be happy to be part of the show eh?
Hopefully folks can look through the bad levels..it scares me though[this type of stuff is out of the band's control]…but gawd!
It’s like, they had the vocal mic OFF in the start of the song and there’s no effects on anything. It is what it is…
Just Kidding i love it all!

thanks ma dear…i’m just bummed about the mix is all…we played it well..but to have the main vocal mic turned off in the start of the song is just crumby…worst yet is this was our 3rd song we taped…they should have had the sound dialed in by song #3 …song #4 was “i’ll be” and the audio was just fine for that one.

I know you know how it was supposed to sound. According to all the comments on the site–honestly I haven’t seen one yet that complimented whoever you’re against. Anywho . . . people are also recognizing the audio was funky and you are still getting their vote. So either you are really good, or you have A LOT of friends.

Yes, your audio mix pretty much sucked but your songwriting skills put the rest of them to shame. And your opponent with that “I just got outa bed look” - her song/performance/image… Yikes! I couldn’t listen to it all the way through. I’d rather stick an icepick in my ears! In fact, I did give a listen to every single performer and could not get all the way through any of them. Talk about complete lack of musical ability. Yikes! I hope none of them give up their day jobs!
And these folks won their first round? WTF? (my question for everything nowadays)
i’ve been in touch with other folks from the show and they don’t seem to be happy with the mixes they got …so i guess it’s fair all around the board.

I guess I’m deaf or something but I thought the audio quality was not that bad. Yes, it was low in the very beginning (and obviously a tech error) but only for about 10 secs then turned up to normal. To me, the rest of the song was great. I love that song. I think what the other performers lacked (besides the inability to create a good song) is a cohesive look. You guys fit each other well. Why do most singers/musicians think they have to look scraggly and dirty? Dirt is in? Clean is out?

Dittos on the scragly look! I didn’t care for that either. I thought a lot of them looked doped up. I know that muscisians have a rep for drugs but I take the clean cut proffessionals every time over the druggies. Don’t drink and drive and don’t drink and play! If you must, celebrate later dudes, AFTER you win! And always have a designated strumer!

yeah..the mix could be better but what i just realized was that everyone probably think there mix is bad too so i guess it makes it even…or not. Persoanlly…the sound is better on most of the other performers…even the drum sound…or maybe i’m just hearing things… not much to do now but try to get votes though
