I’ve been renting LOUSY movies…doesn’t seem like there’s any New Releases worthy of watching…it seems like I’ve rented about 5 or 6 movies and kept my finger on the Fast Forward button on most of them. This last week, just about everything on TV has been a rerun as well.
The shows in the Fall Lineup I’m looking forward to checking out…In no particular order are:
- Heroes
- Kidnapped
- Medium [I love this show, it makes me laugh when it shouldn't]
- Prison Break [will these guys ever get out? LOL]
- Vanished [Looks interesting]
- Dancing with the Stars [Ok..i'll admit it..i like this show]
- Duets [AKA Singing with the Stars]- I’m curious.
- American Idol [Yes, I'm hooked on this too]
- Smallville [Now that Lex is a "bad guy" it's getting much better]
Speaking of TV…I found myself watching The Teen Choice Awards last night. Did anyone watch this?
Through the whole show they kept pumping the last act as "Kevin Federline’s debut TV appearance" …What a miserable performance it was. Now I’m not someone who’s a great judge of rapping or the genre of music but you don’t have to be a Rap Expert to know what he was doing was just dreadful. I was actually squirming while watching him. Maybe he was super nervous or something…but it was ear bleedingly bad.
I know the guy gets a ton of flack from people because he’s married to Brittany Spears but I was hoping I’d be pleasantly surprised and maybe even enjoy it. I watched it with an open mind and tried not to let any of the bad press he gets effect what I thought about his performance… All that aside, the only entertaining thing about it was that it was just so bad! When they panned the camera on the crowd after he was finished, it seemed the whole audience seemed confused. I’m wondering if everyone who watched him last night have sore eye muscles today from rolling their eyes all night.
I’d like to think kids today have better taste…but of course we all know that with proper marketing, anyone can be successful.
I’m waiting for Senior Choice Awards… of course, you’ll be invited to appear: you’ll be the Star of the Show. It doesn’t matter that almost all my other fav’s are dead or trapped in a time warp, reliving their glory days.
I wish you would have seen the show last night just so you could get a good laugh. I don’t like to rip the guy apart but MAN it was BAD!
I stumbled across the Teen show also and just could not stop watching. It was like trying NOT to look at a bad train wreck. I couldn’t believe they actually gave an award for the person who had the most diamond encrusted teeth! WTF? I can only hope it’s a passing fad. Some shows are soooo bad they’re actually entertaining. I do know from experience that most celebrities who appear on those awful award shows are forced to be there contractually. Why would Johnny Depp want to be present at a silly Teen Award Show?
Last night I rented a new release “Hoot” a teen movie about vigilante teens trying to save some owls from ruthless land developers. OMG! It was so bad I was squirming on my couch from embarrassment. I just could not turn it off! What boggles my mind is I’m sure they actually make money from producing this garbage.
I think this just reflects the condition of the world today. No taste. I saw where a rapper recently decorated his home in “Early Bling.” It made Vegas look sterile.
damn…and here i was just about ready to get a new grill …i was thinking a mouth full of OREO cookies instead of diamonds or gold
Well at the opposite end of the spectrum are bleached white teeth -so fucking bright you’re almost blinded by their smile. Especially on really dark skinned blacks. It’s like, “Could you please smile I left my flashlight at home?”
People’s teeth should not be as white as paper. Sorry to offend those of you out there who love bleaching your teeth. Gawd forbid that anyone believes, “Less is more.”
i think the new trend should be for folks to darken their teeth..like BLACK
Already been done. My gramma had NO teeth (when she removed her false teeth) and her mouth was like a dark cavern. I imagine that’s what it would look like if someone blackened their teeth.
But wouldn’t this be cool? Shiny black teeth?? Hmmmm. Time for Photoshop.
I am a huge lover of music, I even found myself shocked that I liked Paris Hiltons song (and I can’t stand Paris Hilton). But I was booing Mr KFED at home on my couch, it was like some horrible accident that you could keep your eyes off of. In some ways I just felt bad for him, and I think getting Brittany to introduce him was a bad plan…it just seemed like she was saying “be nice to him he’s my hubby, and don’t hurt his feelings”.
yeah..i like Paris’ song too…it wasn’t bad. I’m wondering if Federline’s CD is better than live…not about to find out though

I don’t recall where I read it, but I saw that KFed’s album wasn’t bad. I don’t think I am so much into him or his stupid wife enough that I will even take a second to check it out on iTunes.
As far as the fall lineup, the only one we seem to have in common is American Idol. I really like the CSI’s–except NY–and Supernatural. My friend gets me hooked on all this garbage.
Anywho . . . here’s hoping you get proper marketing–at least you’ve earned it.
I need to check out the CSI shows…i hear good things about them.

OH! I am a BIG fan of The 4400. The season finale is this Sunday. If you’ve never watched the show there is a marathon this weekend I think before the finale. Though it looks like you have your DVR working overtime.

I love Court TV!!!! Forensic Files is the best. Also, you might want to check out Cold Case Files on A&E. Those are great!
i agree….Forensic Files is the best! i usually go to sleep every night with those shows on…i just love that channel and a friend of mine pokes fun of me for watching them
