WPD’s “Weapons of Spam Destruction”
477 Spams eaten and counting…
…so says the Spam Karma 2 Plug-In at the botton of my journal. THANK GOD for this little plug-in. Before I was deleting them as they were coming in… and now? AUTO-POOF!
The War Against Spam is one I think I’m winning now. With my new server, my mail client has this thing called a "Spam Trap Box". I have it turned on and now I get NO SPAM AT ALL in email as well as my blog. What happens is…when you send me an email, it sends and auto-reply saying something like "You must reply to this message with the subject intact to prove that you are a real live human being and not some sort of Spam Robot". By doing this…it adds your email to a "whitelist" and future emails all go through. So far it’s been working like a charm.
The only fallback is…I have to keep checking the trap box to make sure some things do go through [like my bank statements, or if I order something online and they need to send confirmation]. This is not a problem though…I just glance at it once a day.
So now, when the auto-emails that usually scam grandmothers out of their life savings from those Princes of Nigeria needing help getting their millions of dollars try to auto-email me, they get spammed right back (those fuckers).
"Nigeria has developed Weapons of Spam Destruction and we need to act!"
So with Memorial Day Weekend passing us by, we should also remember the soldiers lost in the Spam Wars as well as the real life ones 
I do my best NOT to on the blog and keep it a PG-13 rating but sometimes there’s no better words that explain the true feelings

yeah..that Spam Karma thing…i’ve only had it up for about a week and it’s already caught about 500 spams…crazy!

Now a good spam blocker is a good thing….I’m a ‘nobody’ not some big blogrebity like you Bob….but even I’ve been getting up to 300 spams in my yahoo box a day! It’s sick! Course the odd/funny part is…today, your email was in my SPAM box! I knew it all along…you are one of THEM!!!!

I vote no on the swearing in your music. I want my kids listening to art not vulgarities. And I screen everything. Vulgarities are an unnessesary part of anything. Your music is beautiful as is.

i ususally don’t swear in songs though i have in only 1 in the past. I guess if the genre of music i was doing was Rapp or Metal i could get away with it more but ..piano rock stuff doesn’t really mix well with that

I love Spam. I usually buy the lo-salt version. I was raised on it. My mom would cook different versions of it about twice a month. I usually fry it and make a sandwich with toast, lettuce, tomato and mayo. You should try it. It’s delicious. There must be something to it cause it’s been around for at least 50 years.
