Idol Thoughts
So tonight’s the final American Idol night. Everyone seems to think Taylor will win. I think Taylor SHOULD win but I have a funny feeling that Katherine will take the prize… I guess we’ll see tonight. If Katherine wins…I won’t be shocked but I do think based on the whole season that Taylor should be crowned king. Those original songs were "groaners" (especially the "It’s My Destiny" song, or whatever it’s called). I didn’t mind Taylor’s "make you proud" song as much but it had some moments of CHEESE as well. Can’t really blame the contestants for those songs 
I have a hockey game tonight so I won’t get to watch the show live…I’ll have to catch the Tivo/DVR playback. I just hope the DVR doesn’t mess up.
One final thought about this season…i think this season will produced more people who’ll get recording deals. I’m willing to bet that Kellie, Ace, Chris, Kat, Elliot and Taylor will all get some sort of record contract and will do pretty okay….but time will tell.

At this point American Idol is pointless. All the great characters are gone. No one to make fun of anymore. I’m really gonna miss seeing Katherine’s old man ball his head off. Love those closeups. They should just shoot straight up his nose so we can see the snot running down. And Taylor - sheesh! I will not miss seeing those silly, swiveling Elvis hips. I’ll bet his balls are black and blue from being slapped around all week. I will miss Paula’s alcoholic outbursts. She is a hoot! I love her! I will not miss Big Momma’s “Check it out! Check it out!” As for Simon, I’ll bet when we see him next season his eyes will be permanently stuck in the “rolled up” position.
I gotta get a life.
