American Idol Picks from Last Night
Okay, I’ll admit it…I’m hooked on American Idol. After watching the gals last night, my top 3 female picks are Lisa, Katherine, and Paris.

I thought the Becky(the Twin) sure looked the part but she didn’t have the voice to match. I’m wondering if her looks will keep her in the competition for another week? She’s real easy on the eyes but I found myself fighting for the MUTE BUTTON when she sang.
If Stevie(the Opera singer) doesn’t get booted off, I’ll be shocked. I think her nerves really got to her and caused canine ears all over the world beg their masters for cotton balls. Those poor pups

Brenna is FOR SURE the most annoying. She has this Diva Attitude and doesn’t seem to have the voice to back it up. Maybe that’ll change down the road? Last season, Scott had that monster ego and it seemed to help keep him around for a while.
Kellie "My Daddy’s in Prison" Pickler, will most likely stick around for a while too. Do prisons let inmates watch A.I? If so, with all the people we have incarcerated here, she might win on those votes alone

I thought Ayla, Mandisa, and Kinnik did just fine but their nerves got them in a few spots. Most of the performances were rather forgetful though.
I’m looking forward to the guys doing their thing tonight. I sure hope they pick better songs than last night’s. On with the show…
I agree with you Bob. I watched it last night for the first time this season and some of the girls were horrible. I’ll be checking it out tonight to see how the guys do.:???:

Hey Bob! You picked exactly who I liked last night. Paris brought it home! She was freaking awesome! I pray that Brenna gets voted off early because I can’t stand her! If I were there I’d choke her..lol! Becky is beautiful but not only is she not good enough vocally she’s too high on herself. That is not an attractive quality.Katherine & Paris are my favorites..Katherine blew me away. She has so much personality behind an awesome voice..the same with Paris. Lisa also blew me away with her classy performance. This is going to be a hard season to pick a favorite. These are just the girls! What am I gonna do when the fellows sing? lol
Lisa’s only 16 so she’s got some room to grow still but i thought she did pretty good.
Katherine & Paris really stood out though.
I predict the top three guys will be Chris, Taylor and …uh..maybe Ace …can’t wait to find out tonight though

My favorites are ALMOST like yours. Katharine, Lisa and Mandisa. Paris doesn’t wow me like she does others, but she is good.
Becky bores me but her looks will carry her for a while. Poor Stevie..and I thought Heather was awful. Melissa was just…plain…and wore too much eyeshadow.

Thanks! I sort of wish the audition was tomorrow rather than waiting a month for it (it’d be nice to get it over with rather than wonder)…of course, having some time helps get mentally prepared too
Do you have any thoughts on the male contestants?
i’m guessing the top three will be Taylor, Chris and…i’ll have to wait until this week to pick the 3rd…but The bald guy so far is my favorite
