Final Destination 2006?
Chris Penn dead? at only 40?
See what I mean about all this death…it’s as though 2006 is starting out to be another sequel to the movie Final Destination or something. Chris has always been in the shadow of his brothers Sean and Michael but he’s seems to have done way more films.
Speaking of films… I watched Flight Plan and The Fog last night. I was pleasantly surprised at Flight Plan. I thought for sure I would have to fast forward through it but I ended up liking it. I sure wish I could say the same thing about The Fog. Save yourself the rental money on the Fog and just rent the original with Jamie Lee Curtis.
I’m a huge Smallville fan and I was hopeful that Tom Welling was making a good move by doing this remake but whoever is advising Welling on his choices of movie roles needs to be slapped around. This movie is just CRAP.

This is my 1st season of watching American Idol from the start of a season. I didn’t get hooked on it until the middle of last season. So what’s the deal with 8 hours of BAD AUDITIONS? They really know how to milk this show…Frankly, I’m so tired of listening to people who can’t sing.
I could handle a 2 hour audition show but to drag it out for WEEKS makes my brain bleed. I’m just thankful I DVR the show and can fast forward through it. Yes, some of the auditions are humorous but do we really need to sit through hours and hours of out of tune people who make Helen Keller seem to have perfect pitch? GET ON WITH IT ALREADY.

Today’s starting out to be a little frustrating. I’m having some EMAIL troubles and people who are sending me messages are getting a bounce back saying my mail box is FULL. I just checked in my Cpanel and looked at my folders and everything is empty so I don’t know what the trouble could be. I have a support ticket open and I’m waiting to hear back. Meanwhile, I increased my mail box to larger size.
And so, if you emailed me and got a bounce back…give it another shot…it should go through now. GRRRR.
Last season was my first with AI. Let me tell you I enjoy the bad auditions for two reasons:
1. Makes my lack of being able to carry a tune to save my life much more tolerable (although I wouldn’t be caught dead doing it in public much less on TV…
and
2. My friend and I usually chat during it…and enjoy ripping the bad ones to shreds.
I just look forward to the real show starting is all. I guess that’s a good sign.
Some of those people are so painful to listen to…seriously, after 4 hours it gave me a pounding head ache
Wait until the middle of the season where they RE-SHOW all the worst auditions.
I guaran-effin’-tee that Rhonette or whatever will get a lot more airtime.

I am sorry to hear about Chris Penn. He was in one of my all time fave movies - Resevoir Dogs. Looks like the Grim Reaper is having a busy start to 2006.
Resevoir Dogs is a GREAT movie.
there’s a scene at the Denny’s where they’re all sitting around talking and they mention “Tony DeFranco”…not sure if you recall that…
