Today I got a nice email from Chris [AKA C-Dogg] who I met at the Portable Media Expo last week asking me if I’d be interested in being part of a CD "The Top Podsafe songs of 2005"…count me in.
As some of you know from previous blogs I’ve done, Chris spins the top 10 songs by podcasters all over the world…This week "Upside Down" is #1. [Jumps up and does the "happy dance"] Sweet!

Let’s face it. You’ve got a bad case of blogitis - but this time for good reason. Since a lot of people are not that familiar with podcasting, they’re probably thinking, “So?” SO? YOU ASK?? Let me digress. About 10 years ago I should have been aware that if I snatched up domain names like “Sony.com,” “Toyota.com,” “Ford.com” …etc for a measly $10 and sold them years later for millions I could have wreaked havoc on all my enemies. But it wasn’t meant to be.
Fast forward to the present. Podcasting is now taking off and is only gonna get bigger. People don’t realize that podcasting is like “Tivo’ing” radio which is the wave of the future and the fact that you are #1 is a HUGE thing.
Now that I know all this, there has to be some way I could make money. I know it’s staring at me in the face but I’m just too stupid to see it. You were smart in granting podcasters the right to play your music for free. It’s now paying off. I think podcasting will be your transtion into music’s mainstream audience and one day you can blog, “See! I told you so! No autographs please! No autographs you podcast illiterate dummies!”
yeah…podcasting is really es’ploding.:mrgreen:
It could blow up even more …or it could fizzle out(i don’t see that happening any time soon)
the main thing is just being able ot adapt to what’s next….When (old)Napster hit the scene THAT really changed things. Who knows what the next change is going to be.

Podcasting is definately the way to go. Smart move to be Podsafe…….but then you are a clever guy and know that already
i dunno..i keep thinking that if i were really that clever I might actually be in a career that actually feeds me

Ineve really understood podcasting that much but need to learn becasue it seems the next big thing.
yeah…it’s really growing!
I think it’s only really hit big in the last year…it’s sort of like radio shows on demand…or audioblogs on demand. there’s some really great ones out there too
