Hello from Lost Vegas
Ok… I should have titled this *”Hello from Water World”*… I don’t dare walk outside…the one minute I stuck my head outside was one minute too many. It’s FREEZING too…very odd Vegas weather…so much so that if not for the dinging of slot machines in 5.1 surround sound, I would have a hard time buying that i’m actually in Vegas. Trippy! So much for relaxing near the pool.
It’s good to see my mom(who flew here a few days ago) …we had dinner last night and she goes back to Michigan tomorrow. I’ll probably head back late tonight and avoid the early checkout as well as day traffic ( I actually like to drive at night-easier on the eyes). Even with the crappy weather, it’s still good to get away.
I haven’t hit any huge jackpots but I did play a little blackjack and I learned this new card game called “Lose your money even faster”…actually I don’t remember the real name of it but… one second I had a handful of chips and the next? I’m Blogging 
It was actually more of a vanishing trick if you ask me …i didn’t like this game 
Well…that’s the report for now.

Anyways it´s true for Vegas, especially moneywise. Naturally it wouldn´t be that crazy a place if people wouldn´t generally loose more money than win.

Vegas is no bueno, except for the bunny ranch and Wayne Newton. I think in that order too. Wayne Newton is the shiznat… Now THAT man has mojo.

Am I wierd in being the only one that feels a bit uncomfortable with that tagline for a whole state? I don’t have any morals but there’s something fundamentally dishonest about it that is not what you’d expect from such a ‘Christian family oriented’ nation of God Bless America, and all that? Do I need to give back my membership card for imoral hedenist club?

“What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas” is the current advertising campaign for Vegas, as instigated by mayor Oscar Goodman (he’s a real riot). Mothers in Las Vegas are rather pissy about it, let alone all the practically naked billboards around town. I think it is safe to say that Vegas has a culture of its own. But, thanks for your financial contribution for the “Moralists of Nevada” foundation. It is going to a great cause, I assure you.
One more question: Is it Nevada with an “a” as in apple, or with an “a” as in prada?
naked billboards … funny, when i think of the term naked billboards i automatically think of a billboard that’s all white without and advertisement on it…. of course…in context of Vegas it has a whole new meaning
I think it’s nice to have a place like Vegas just a few hours from me… I don’t mind helping build the city

It is perfect weather in Vegas now
so I hear
i’ll have to make a trip back soon.
I leave for Michigan in a few days…maybe when I get back from that trip i’ll be ready for some Vegas weather
