JOTTING
I spent some of tonight messing with webcam software. Most I’ve tried are pretty sloooooow and jerky java things…if anyone knows the best software for streaming webcam video, send me an email at bob@bobgentry.com or leave a comment. I’m told the Real Player has pretty good one…but it’s just nice to know my options.
Let’s see…I’m running out to watch the DVR recording of this week’s Smallville. I sure hope it’s better than last week’s. I really loved the season opener but last weeks show left me thinking about caffeine injections.
Anyway…I only have a second but wanted to jot something down.
JOT JOT JOT

Color me crimson (thank goodness no webcam ;), instead of “SilverMoon” (one blog penname) or “Green-Eyed Lady” the other blog penname. Shortly after you visited “Good Vibrations” it hit me from your winky face about listening to i-tunes why your name sounded so familiar!
Music is the driving force behind my visual artistic creations and often in writing certain prose or poetry pieces. I listened to several clips of your music via the web and enjoyed.
oh thanks! iTunes has been very nice to me and my favorite download company… i’d love to see about getting video on there with the new iTunes version and all
Someone emailed me about a video program called “Breeze”… looks a little costly though…
I was thinking about just setting up a little webcam showing Sunset Blvd ( I live right on Sunset and there’s always something crazy to see)…it might be a bit much but I like to learn new programs
Unfortunately I can´t help you with the webcam problems, as I don´t have any experience in that. However I can congratulate you for your very important and basic insight: Java actually is just all about being slow and jerky. I really get into the comforts of developping software with Java a bit, but the applications still are slow and jerky if you ask me.
yeah it would seem the cam software I was messing with basically just keeps uploading and replacing the same image over and over so you never really get a smooth looking video. i’ll get a test hooked up soon
yeah, iTunes too. hey, you watch smallville! i love that show.
yeah…i’m a super fan of of the show (i know…bad pun)

i’m just glad Clark’s powers returned last night….the show seems to drag a little when he bleeds like the rest of us ;-).
Thanks for stopping in and saying “hey”
I fell out of love with Smallville a couple seasons ago…but with my beloved Spike (James Marsters) joining the cast…guess I’ll be back.
Yeah…the last season was sort of cheesy by this season looks to be pretty nice! I just hope they keep it up!
I blogrolled ya back..thanks for the Add
