Powerless

More that half of Los Angeles is without power. I have power…but my internet connection is out and i’m sure it’s somehow connected.
Thankfully, I’m geeky enough to be able to email and blog from my Treo 650 cell phone.-it’s just a little tricky though.
Will report more later today but I figured being involved in a huge power loss is worthy on blogging.
The bright side is…I was not out in traffic when all the street lights went out. I’m lucky.

I always vote for you on BOTB’s but now I am up against you. Hmmm….who will it be?
Some folks get so bent out of shape over BotB’s I figure no matter what the outcome.. it’s 15 hits no matter what:) and i love hits.. yay
They changed it, now you can’t see who voted for you. No more drama. So here’s another hit and vote for you. Oh yeah…and thanks for letting kick your butt in the last one
oh that’s good that they changed it!…that other feature made me not want to vote at all. we were neck and neck though

I’ve never tried BOTB’s. I might give a go sometime. I’ll assume I will lose, and that way I will not be disappointed
be careful…if your a newbie at it the people are heartlesss…they pounce on new folks and its all a big popularity contest.

I got my azz beat by Bob on BOTB- I e-mailed him to congratulate him. It’s all fun, and a worse case scenario is you get 15 hits where you know the people at least look at the blog (as opposed to simply wathcing the timer) and you paid 10 credits for it.
As for the power outage, it’s kinda scary when one human error can make so many people lose power. What would happen if a terrorist were to deliberately try to sabotage the power grid ? It’s not a pleasant thought, but it is something hopefully those in power are thinking about.
Well…I’m realizing there’s quite a few alliances going on there still…groups all sticking together…there’s no way that people are voting on design or even content written(at least from what i can tell)
I went to look at my “review score” –not sure if you found that section yet…but 2 people rated me 1’s all down the line…and one of the questions was on “updated daily?”
I guess i pissed someone off somewhere…oh well 
While i admit my spelling sucks …i certainly update daily
I’m glad that they now have it were it doesn’t show who you vote for…that was drama and trouble.
