Well it’s one more strike out…

…well, they didn’t win but it was still great to be at Anaheim Stadium.

We had really great seats and the weather couldn’t have been better. It’s just too bad the Angels didn’t win. The game was pretty much OVER when Seattle got 5 runs in the 5th inning.

I really loved going to the stadium though and would love to go see more games. There’s something electric about actually being there. It’s just an excitement you can feel in the air…Hard to explain.

I walked away having ingested 2 beers, 2 hotdogs, and 1 bag of popcorn. I also ended up buying an A’s red baseball hat. Watching a baseball game just reconfirmed that we’re in the middle of Summer. How strange it’ll be to go from watching a ball game one night to playing an ice hockey game tonight. [I almost sound like a "Jock" huh?] Who would have thunk?

Some sad news from Michigan today…
My friend Jeff emailed folks to say that his wife’s mother passed away this morning at 4:18am after a 3-year battle against ovarian cancer. My heart goes out to Jeff and his wife Mary along with the rest of the family. I’m VERY sorry :-I wish there could be some magical words to speak to someone when they have a loss in their family that would help stop a little bit of the hurt.
Death Sucks.

Well, I need to get in gear.
