Getting Closer
Wow, this summer came pretty fast. 4th of July Weekends are usually pretty fun. To me it’s like Summer in its Prime. Of course it holds another meaning to me since my birthday is 2 days after.
I’m not really a firecracker baby but my birthday events usually had something to do with parties already going on over the 4th. –No complaints from me though. My friend Jeff’s birthday falls just after Christmas and New Years. I’m sure he’d get the standard “ok, now this is your Christmas gift as well as your birthday gift“. He was robbed 
Of course, as we get older we realize birthdays are not about parties and gifts though we do get an added bonus of our car insurance going down a little –that’s a nice gift 
I’m hoping to see War of the Worlds and The Fantastic Four in the next week. Tom Cruise has been acting a little strange these last few weeks…At least in interviews. That whole banter with Brooke Shields about psychiatry and medication just struck me out of left field. Brooke was quoted as saying “Tom needs to go back to saving the world from Aliens”. Ok..That gave me a chuckle.
