Tomorrow begins the OTC
OTC is a little term meaning “Out of Town Company“… My old roommate and I sort of coined the phrase. And so…Tomorrow’s OTC will consist of Jeff and Greg from Michigan. Always exciting to see long time friends….This upcoming week should be fun..but busy. I’ll try to keep updating the Journal but as the week goes on…more OTC comes to town and I want to do my best to spend time with everyone (other than just having them come out to watch me perform). Anyway… I’m looking forward to this week.
A friend sent me the new Star Wars teaser QuickTime file today…[drool!]…Man, the [slobber] movie looks REALLY GREAT. Can’t wait to see it!
Yesterday an email came from my web server saying that I need to increase my bandwidth…This is a good thing…It means people are hitting the website. I have the Halloween Video Diary #1 hosted on another server and now that site is getting bombed. As of yesterday (today’s count isn’t in yet) the Halloween QuickTime file has been downloaded 300 times [this doesn't count the people who already have it downloaded in their cache]. That’s like 100 downloads a day–include the live airing of the show and repeats on West Hollywood’s Channel 36 and I’m getting some pretty damn good exposure. My evil plan to take over the world is starting to unravel!!! 
[evil laugh] At this rate, it’ll only take me 15 years to become an overnight success.
On a serious note, I think the hardest thing about living the whole “starving artist’s” life is keeping spirits up while starving.
Well…That’s enough deep thoughts for the moment..Back to brainless fun: Smallville has become so funny! It’s like a cheesy little super hero soap opera…. I LOVE IT! I know they keep changing the story lines from what’s in the comic books..but that doesn’t bother me. I still laugh at the show and love it to death!–I’m also pretty sure that Lex and Clark have a little hidden relationship going on. With all the craziness going on with that show, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least! Funniest line from last night’s show?? “Clark put down that green rock!” –as if he was smoking it.
